Help Terra Nova High School Save Their Swimming Pool
Terra Nova High School Pool Requires $54,000 For Repairs.
Every fall, the California Health Department send an inspector out to make sure that our TNHS pool is in compliance with all the health and safety codes, that the water is properly chlorinated, and that the pool meets current standards.


This last fall, the inspector indicated that the TNHS pool would need to be re-plastered re-painted and broken and cracked tiles replaced before next season, or else he would not allow the pool to be re-opened. Jefferson Unified School District had some money set aside for maintenance, but was short by $10,000 to perform the necessary repairs and resurfacing.


Our upcoming Swimathon is more important then ever, and the need to raise money has never been more critical!
What Is The Swimathon
Terra Nova Aquatics Programs are supported through donated funds and contributions. The Swimathon is one of the most important Aquatics fund-raising events of the year. With the Terra Nova Athletic's Department budget shortfall this year of nearly $27,000 the Swimathon takes on even greater importance than it has in the past.

The Swimathon is where each of the Aquatics Team Members gets sponsors to pledge an amount to donate to the Terra Nova Aquatics Program on the basis of "money for laps swum". Swimmers try to get sponsors to pledge at least 50 cents per lap, then the swimmers swim as many laps as they possible can. So, if a swimmer has a sponsor that pledges 50 cents per lap and if the swimmer can do 200 laps, the pledge becomes 200 times $0.50 or $100.

You can support your favorite swimmers by pledging right here on the web site. Simply pick the swimmers names from the list below and enter it in the form that follows. Then fill in your information and your pledge amount, and click on submit - it's that simple!

NOTE: - If you want to sponsor more than one swimmer, after you have submitted your first pledge, just click the reset button and enter the additional swimmer's name and your pledge amount, and then click on "Submit" again.
