Business Sponsors To Receive Special Recognition

Helping save the Terra Nova Swimming Pool can get your business some long term recognition. When the renovation of the Terra Nova swimming pool is complete, their will be an official dedication cermemony, and a plaque will be unveiled, listing all of the Business Sponsors that helped make ther renovation possible. This plaques will be permanently mounted on the pool enclosure walls, where parents, team-members and visitors can see those that made this renovation possible. It's a permanent, great advertisement for your business as well a a potentially tax-deductible gift.

This last fall, the inspector indicated that the TNHS pool would need to be re-plastered re-painted and broken and cracked tiles replaced before next season, or else he would not allow the pool to be re-opened - that's why your help is more important then ever!

Two Ways To Sponsor

Per Lap -
Business Sponsors can elect to sponsor a per lap pledge of at least $1.00 per lap. Business sponsors names will be placed in a drawing, with Terra Nova Swimmers being allowed to draw one business sponsor per team member. The person that draws your business name will then be swimming for your business, and when they have completed their Swimathon, the number of laps they have swum times your per lap pledge will be calculated, and an invoice will be sent to your business that can either be paid by check or credit card (VISA or MasterCard).

Fixed Donation -
If you prefer, you can donate a fixed amount to the "Save Our Pool" fund by typing in the amount you wish to donate in the "I prefer to make a donation of" field below. Business sponsors that donate fixed amounts will be recognized on the commerative plaque if their donation is at least $100.

When you click on the submit button, you are agreeing to pay Friends of Terra Nova Aquatics Programs the amount of money per lap times the number of laps that the swimmer draws your name actuaclly swims. The number of laps will be determined by the Terra Nova High School Coaching Staff. You will be billed for this amount at the completion of the Swimathon, or if you have made a pledge of a fixed donation, you will be billed for that amount. All amounts donated to the Friends of Terra Nova Aquatics Programs may be tax deductible. Pledge donations may also be charged to your VISA or MasterCard. When you receive your pledge donation bill, you will be given that option.
